Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 July 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Live CV (livecv.app), an AI-powered tool that helps you draft, tailor, and manage CVs, cover letters, and LinkedIn content. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Registration is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page.

AI-generated content and accuracy

The service uses AI models to draft and rewrite content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. In particular:

  • Generated content is a draft. You must review and verify it before using it in a job application.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit to an employer, including anything the AI wrote for you.
  • You must not use generated content to make decisions about another person (for example, hiring, credit, or housing decisions).

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you provide (your profile, uploads, and inputs) and to the documents generated for you. You give us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the service for you.

You confirm you have the right to provide any content you upload, including resumes and job descriptions.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, harmful, or deceptive
  • Submit URLs you are not entitled to access, or use the job-import feature in a way that violates a third party's terms
  • Upload another person's personal data without their permission
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service
  • Misrepresent AI-generated output in breach of applicable law

When you submit a job posting URL, we retrieve that page on your behalf to extract the job description. Some websites restrict automated access in their terms; you are responsible for the URLs you submit.

No employment guarantees

We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, ATS acceptance, or any employment outcome. The service helps you prepare documents; hiring decisions are made by employers.

Our intellectual property

The service, its design, templates, and branding are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any rights to them except to use the service as intended.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided with reasonable skill and care, "as is" and "as available". We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost job opportunities) arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or limits any statutory consumer rights you have in your country of residence, including in the EEA and UK.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, acting reasonably and, where practical, with notice. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time; deletion removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence where consumer law requires it, and otherwise by the laws of England and Wales. If you are an EEA or UK consumer, you keep the protection of your local mandatory consumer laws and may bring claims in your local courts.

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in advance in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date means you accept them. Questions: dimi.development@gmail.com.
